This is a fun activity for all the family, cut out feet shapes from card or craft foam and place them on the ground in different directions and different distances apart. You can all then follow the trail moving in different directions etc.
Firstly, you will need to find all sort of pairs of objects of different sizes around you house e.g. a big and small brick. Make some jelly and put all your objects in before it sets (you may need to use more than one packet) leave it to set and dig out all the pairs. OR: an adult can make this and you can find out what they have hidden.
Oil and Water Sensory Bag
These are easy to make and fun to play with. You will need strong freezer bags, duct tape, baby oil, water and food colouring. Freezer bags are not always as strong as you expect so ask an adult to reinforce the sides and bottom edges by folding the duct tape over the edges. In a jug put the same amount of water and baby oil. Add a little food colouring and pour into the bag – it only needs to be about 1/3 full. VERY carefully seal the bag getting as much air out as possible then seal this edge with tape too. Now it is time to play!
Stop and Go Game:
Make these signs and then you can tell everyone when to stop and when to go.
